Introduction
My name is dr. Tamás Varga. I am a private proprietor and established my business in 1990. We are specialized in the manufacturing of components by metal cutting. The history of our company started with the manufacturing and supply of the components of industrial fittings. We produced certain components of industrial fittings, sliders, ball taps, butterfly valves, back pressure valves, valves for the chemical industry and power plants and valves for instruments from normal, acid-proof or heat resistant materials. Such components included e.g. ball taps and valve spindles, valve bodies and valve disks, pipe flanges, valve cups, cable gland screws, etc. In addition, we also manufactured complete mechanical worm gears used for the propelling of large-size butterfly valves in various sizes. In an attempt to adapt to the transitions in the industrial sector following the change of the political regime, we gradually switched to the manufacturing and supply of components for the motor vehicle industry. We replaced our manufacturing devices and work now with modern CNC machines rather than the traditional turning and milling machines. I founded Dr.Varga Tamás 2007 Fémipari Kft. in 2007 and I am planning to reorganize our activities into this business in the mid-term. At the moment, we employ 12 persons, but this number is expected to increase dynamically as a result of the expansion of the company. We also employ apprentices from the local vocational training school, thus ensuring that our demand for additional labour may be met in the future as well.
